Winter Wheat

Wheat's full name is Winter Wheat and she is a shepherdess and known as a sheep whisperer, who can communicate with fiber animals such as sheep and alpaca. She left the potluck to return to the highlands and spends her days driving animals from pasture to pasture higher into the mountains and then down again in the spring so that the ewes can lamb and the sheep be shorn and the herds culled for market. Her favorite is a little black and white spotted Jacob lamb she treats as if it were a dog.

Wheat has a keen knowledge of fine fiber and can pick an animal who will offer the best fleece easily from a herd. She uses a shepherd's staff like a cane and carries it with her everywhere even when there are no sheep within sight. Her shepherd's staff has two crystals tied to the curly hook which allows her to use her staff as a weapon when needed.

Wheat has long ragged blond hair and dresses in rustic clothing. She favors a waterproof cloak that she sometimes sleeps in when she is camping in the mountains.
